Adding & Switching Profiles
EdgeMulti-profile tracking lets you track multiple LinkedIn profiles from a single Flux account — your own profile alongside clients, executives, or competitors you want to monitor.
How to add a profile
New profiles are added through checkout. Each additional profile you track is provisioned when you upgrade or add a profile slot to your Edge plan. Once a profile is added, Flux begins the initial data pull automatically. Profiles show as "processing" in the switcher until the backfill completes.
Monitored profiles (profiles other than your own) are managed from Settings → Streams.
Switching profiles on the dashboard
When you have two or more ready profiles, a profile switcher appears in the dashboard header. It works as a multi-select:
- Single profile — the switcher shows that profile's name
- Multiple profiles selected — shows "N profiles" and aggregates their data across the dashboard
- All profiles selected — shows "All profiles"
Click the switcher to open the dropdown. Check or uncheck individual profiles, or use Select All to toggle everything at once. Profiles that are still processing are listed but disabled until their backfill is complete.
On other pages (Explore, Score, Settings), the nav header shows a single-select dropdown to pick which profile's context you're working in.
Key details
- Your own profiles appear first in the switcher; monitored profiles appear in a separate "Monitored" group below.
- Switching profiles resets the DuckDB query layer so data never bleeds across profiles — each profile's charts and metrics are fully isolated.
- Company profiles show a "Company" badge in the switcher dropdown.
- If you deselect all profiles, Flux keeps at least one selected automatically.
Tips
- To track a client's LinkedIn page as a LinkedIn coach or agency, add it as a monitored profile — no login or permission from them is required. See Research Anyone for the prospect-research workflow.
- Multi-profile data is also accessible via the MCP and Data API, making it useful for bulk research workflows in Claude or Cursor. See MCP & API Access.
