Is There a Claude MCP for LinkedIn?

Yes. Claude can connect to LinkedIn data through a LinkedIn MCP server, but neither Anthropic nor LinkedIn publishes one. Claude has no built-in LinkedIn access, and its web browsing does not log in to LinkedIn, so out of the box it cannot read a profile's posts or engagement. Add a third-party server as a connector and it can. Flux (fluxgraph.app) runs a hosted one that works in Claude on the web, desktop, and mobile, as well as Claude Code and Cursor, with no LinkedIn login.

What Claude can do with LinkedIn on its own

Nothing useful. Claude's web search can find a public LinkedIn page, but LinkedIn serves most content behind a login wall, so Claude sees a title and a snippet at best. Ask the Claude app to "scrape a LinkedIn profile" and it will usually decline. The Claude Code and Cursor agents can run a scraper if you give them one, but that is a scraping tool with Claude driving it, not a Claude feature. See Can Claude scrape LinkedIn? for that distinction.

What Claude can do with a LinkedIn MCP server

With a server connected, Claude calls tools instead of browsing. Depending on the server, that means reading a profile or company page, pulling recent posts with engagement counts, finding which days and formats beat an account's own baseline, searching posts by topic, and mapping who engages with whom. With Flux's server, a typical session looks like: "Audit the last 50 posts from this company page and tell me what to change," and Claude returns the findings with sample sizes.

Which kind of server fits Claude

DesignWorks inReadsRisk
Logged-in session (most open-source servers)Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor (local process)Whatever your account can seeRuns under your LinkedIn account
Official LinkedIn API with OAuthClaude Desktop, Claude Code, CursorYour own profile, pages, and postingNeeds an approved LinkedIn developer app
Hosted, read-only (Flux)Claude web, desktop, mobile, Claude Code, Cursor, ZedAny public profile or company pageNothing runs in your account

Only a hosted server with a remote URL works in Claude on the web and mobile, because those clients cannot start a local process. Session-based servers need Claude Desktop or a coding agent on your machine, and they reuse your LinkedIn cookie, which is why the top question on the most popular one's Reddit thread is whether it will get your account restricted.

How to add Flux to Claude

Claude on the web, desktop, or mobile. Open Settings, then Connectors, add a custom connector with the URL https://www.fluxgraph.app/mcp, and sign in with your Flux account when Claude asks. Signing in creates the account if you do not have one. Connectors added on the web appear in the desktop and mobile apps.

Claude Code. One command, with an MCP key from Settings, then MCP, in Flux (Claude Code cannot use browser sign-in with Flux yet):

claude mcp add --transport http --scope user flux \
  https://www.fluxgraph.app/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"

Cursor, Windsurf, Zed, and other clients. Paste the remote-server config from the setup page, or use the stdio wrapper if your client needs a local command:

{ "mcpServers": { "flux-linkedin": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "flux-linkedin-mcp"] } } }

Account risk and cost

Flux reads public LinkedIn data through a third-party data provider, not through an official LinkedIn API. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn. You never give it a LinkedIn password or cookie, nothing runs under your LinkedIn account, and it is read-only: it cannot post, like, comment, connect, or message. It cannot see impressions, profile viewers, or anything behind a login. LinkedIn's User Agreement restricts automated data collection, so decide whether this approach fits your own use; this is not legal advice.

A free preview covers up to 50 recent posts from a public profile or company page, within a daily budget. Full post history, weekly refresh, trends over time, search, and the engagement graph are on the Edge plan, $15 per month or $150 per year as of November 2026. The paid part is the data pipeline, not the protocol.

FAQ

Does Anthropic have an official LinkedIn connector for Claude?

No. Anthropic's connector directory lists third-party servers, and LinkedIn is not among Anthropic's first-party integrations. Any LinkedIn connector you add to Claude is built by a third party, so check how it connects and whether it needs your LinkedIn login before you add it.

Does the Flux MCP work in the free Claude plan?

Yes. Custom connectors work on every Claude plan; the free plan allows one. Flux's free preview needs no Flux account for the first results, and signing in to Flux for more is free. Full post history and the engagement graph need Flux's Edge plan, which is separate from your Claude plan.

Can Claude post to LinkedIn through an MCP server?

Only through servers that run under your account or your own LinkedIn developer app, and automation of that kind is where LinkedIn restrictions happen. Flux is read-only. It can help Claude draft and score a post from your own history, but you publish it yourself in LinkedIn.

Can Claude read my LinkedIn impressions or who viewed my profile?

No server can read those for someone else, and Flux cannot read them for you either, because they are private to the account owner inside LinkedIn. Flux reads public data: posts, reactions, comments, reposts, and follower counts, and who the named reactors and commenters are across posts.
